“The Anker team started the building project in January 2019 by suggesting an excellent architect who really 'got' my wish to create a 'spacious place in a small space'. After that Hannes took charge of the planning and organising by managing the project in every detail. The relationship Andre and Hannes have with their team was evident in the punctuality, commitment and personal pride individuals took in doing "ons werk" everyday they were on site. In the final chapter Andre added his touch with fishing memorabilia from his personal collection that added character to the (my) fishing village home. 6 months later, I enjoy my spacious home in a small space more and more (COVID 19 helped by enforcing confinement to that happy space). Thank you Anker team for your professionalism that enabled a happy ending.”

"Having a wishing list that’s off the charts, for a dream home out of this world, means you need a very special builder! But it started off by standing on a dune with André and having someone understanding your dream – not only for your house, but also for Paternoster...   Building right on the sea front where serious foundations are needed, requires applied engineering specifications. Add large open spaces and huge frameless glass doors without load bearing walls and the technical detail for the builder multiplies. Again, a very special builder is need to make the dreams become a reality.   Invariably, converting the plan during construction requires finding solutions for unforeseen challenges, adapting specifications to work, or look better. Changes and adaptations were made on the go, and all to deliver a better result.   A dream house needs finicky finishing and attention to detail.   And then perhaps most of all dealing with an woman that has “pictures in her head” that have to be manifested in bricks and mortar, requires a special kind of tenacity...   Anker Builder’s Andre and Hannes and their team were the special builders that we needed!
